The sensation of the beauty of natural forms was accumulated at the genetic level. I have similar feelings about the world in which we live now. That's why I work with natural materials, in particular with wood in combination with a horn and a bone.

I always liked the plasticity of trees, especially the plasticity of the roots. This is the part that is hidden from the human eye. This is a mystery that can be seen only when the root is revealed. It is a work of art itself, and if you correctly perceive the movement and mysticism of the image, you can get a masterpiece.

You be the judge how much it reflects the reality. I’m just trying to improve as much as possible the object of my craft.

I do not feel lonely in my creative process, there are always invisible spiritual assistants around. And when I achieve something interesting with their help I’m very grateful.

I always want to make things look like nothing else, unique. I do not really like it when everything is simple and ordinary in sculpture. When I work I try to forget about my surroundings, sometimes turn off the brain and let my intuition lead me. When it works and the sculpture is born - I feel that my life has been worth living, and I’m grateful to the Creator ...
