I appropriate and assemble imagery that has made an impact on me to create a narrative which comments on different social issues, most notably in my video. I am inspired by and drawn to popular culture and humour in relation and comparison to daily occurrences.

Space and time are aspects which focus on the immediacy of the present as scenes of idealised settings and daily life drift from first hand footage of social happenings to found snippets from well-known TV channels, film and fashion.

My process of gathering material from different sources reflects the influence of constantly travelling worldwide. The audience travels with the video as the narrative progresses in a drifting or sometimes meditative state. Subtle humour compliments the shortness in each video and is manipulated to present the theme at hand.
