Irina Gorbman

Irina Gorbman is an accomplished self-taught metaphysical abstract artist with mechanical engineering and business consulting careers in the past. She also designs derivative, original-based, patterns for fabrics, accent wallpapers and wearable art/athleisure.

Art That Heals™ is the artist's motto and that what people experience while looking at her abstracts. Irina’s color vibrancy affects people at a subconscious level and creates an uplifting aura.

While Irina is a self-taught artist working in her own meditative style, art patrons compared her to Edvard Munch, Joan Mitchell, Willem de Kooning and Edouard Manet. The switch from a traditional (in the eyes of her parents) career in mechanical engineering and international relations to art creation happened over 14 years ago after a postpartum mini-stroke and then became a self-healing profession.
