Marvdor Two Thousand

Heavily influenced by my career in design I take a social psychologist’s approach to the art I create. That means I am interested in the situational and contextual factors that drive human behaviour. When you’re seeking to explain or understand a person’s actions and reactions, looking at the social norms, and the person’s context is often what is most influential and are what is most overlooked by others. I want to help people respond to other's behaviour with curiosity and openness rather than judgment. We all need to understand that situational context can influence behaviour as much as personality, intelligence or other individual traits.

I work mostly with acrylics, oil pastels and charcoal.
