Alan Bickley

My career has always centred around art, editorial artist for major newspaper groups including Daily Mail. I also teach painting to adults at college.

I try and paint en-plein-air whenever possible, working mainly in oils and in an impressionistic style, I steer well clear of photo-realism. Constantly working on new ideas and styles but always keeping my work figurative rather than abstract.

Contributing feature writer to 'The Artist' and also 'Leisure Painter' Magazines and have had work exhibited in the 'Artist & Illustrator' magazine.
