Nataliia Taranukha is a Ukraine born artist currently living with her family and a palm tree in Wuppertal, Germany. In her paintings Nataliia creates a dialogue about our shared human experience. She records events of her life and reflects on the world around her. She weaves together threads of nostalgia, contemporary influences, and personal narratives. Her art becomes a dynamic intersection of the past and the present, the tangible and the intangible. In each stroke, in each layer of paint she encapsulates the essence of a moment, distils emotions, experiences and the textures of our lives. Her creative process is always a play of exploration and experimentation. She loves the spontaneous, the uncertain, and the unexpected. Her work is an invitation for the viewer to step into a world where time is suspended, emotions are vividly palpable, and complexities of existence are distilled into vivid, tangible forms. Nataliia employs symbolism, text and mark-making, creating a visually immersive and layered experience for the viewer. She blends a wide spectrum of materials, often commencing with watercolours and integrating ink, acrylics and various drawing mediums, therefore creating multitude of textures, colours, and effects. Nataliia invites the viewer on a journey of playful self-discovery and encourage to look at the world from a different perspective.
