Ilia Yefimovich

My name is Yefimovich Ilia ,My work is a research of the human conflict and it obsession with territory , I work both in Russia and Israel. I'm building a puzzle that shows the territorial conflict of Israel and Palestine. I base my work in photographing Portraits and Landscapes. For my project I choose a very precise historical place to document, and the people that are today deifying this territory. And In Russia I work on a definition of Nationalism the attachment of the society to It's leadership , the future of a state that every 60 years changing it corse of believe. In both of the places my goal is to provide the viewer with the ability to see the accruing changes in it's territory and for the viewers to understand the influence they have on the future. If you absolutely self-contained with the past then you might start building the path to your future. In my work i use the basics of photography - i work with a 4x5 camera that help's my to integrate with the historical part of the locations i work at .
