I depict the subtle nuances of the heart and scenes that are invisible to the eye.
For me, painting is a tool for communication that connects me with others in this world.
When I’m able to connect with someone through my art, I truly feel that “I am connected to this world.”
My theme is “Art Connects Hearts.”
In addition to painting with pigments, I also create drawings, collages, illustrations for books, and book designs.
I am currently holding a two-person exhibition titled “The Darkest Hour Is Just Before Dawn,” inspired by the English proverb, with artist Haruka Nakamae.
My favorite saying is, “Live your life embodying the beauty of what you love.”
My favorite pastime is traveling to places far from here.
Although I had been away from painting for a long time, I resumed creating in 2021.
Born in Oita, Japan. Lives and works in Kyoto, Japan.
Completed advanced studies in Oil Painting at Oita College of Arts.
