Mauro Terenzio Curella

My name is Mauro Terenzio Curella, I was born in Legnano-Mi in 1980.

I was a street artist in London where I started painting in 1999,
I traveled for years in search of something I call creative light.
Sometimes the action of moving can give us a different perspective, other times careful observation.
In the creative act I try to find the sacred, the vision;
in the art I create, I search for what is not mine, what unites me and confuses me with the whole, I am no longer but I belong,
disintegrating myself and then reintegrating myself.
As in a breath, inspiration and expiration.
I deal with painting mainly large canvases, I produce wooden support frames of the required size
to which I mount fabrics that I treat in order to be able to paint on.
In my painting I use a lot of experimentation both in terms of materials and technique, among the different works
I select some and make series.
Each work has the creative ingredient and the technique is only superficial.
I study photography and I dream of sculpture.
I paint outdoors or at my art studio in Legnano-Mi.

I attended the Art School Paolo Candiani in Busto Arsizio (Varese) and the Brera Academy in Milan.
