Vanda Orlova

I am Vanda Orlova, a Ukrainian artist, illustrator, and the creator of my own signature style, "Solarism" (from the word Solar). I am often described as someone who "paints with the sun" and captures "sunbeams" on canvas.

To me, Solarism represents sunlight as an inner anchor — a resilience that breaks through the darkness of life's challenges. My work has been showcased at international exhibitions in Venice, Milan, and Sicily, and has received prestigious recognitions, including awards from the Espacio Gallery in London.

Beyond the canvas, I am the founder of the Art Fine Nation agency and the visionary behind several socially impactful art initiatives, such as the ART BATTLE CHALLENGE: "Draw Me a Poem by Lina Kostenko," Mosaic of Ukrainian Heritage, and The Mazepa Code. I also had the distinct honor of being the sole illustrator for the Ukrainian chapter of the international project "Dialogue Between Jerusalem and Five Cities of Ukraine: From A to Z" (covering Jerusalem-Kyiv, Odessa, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Dnipro), organized by the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine. My practice is a constant synthesis of emotional depth, cultural relevance, and visual poetry.
