Laura Cuñat is a visual artist based in Spain whose work explores memory, identity, and emotion through the language of collage and mixed media. Her artistic project Almagrafías is a form of biographical art that reflects fragments of personal and collective experiences. The works are assembled using found textures, fragments of everyday life, and carefully constructed compositions that evoke a poetic sense of time. Each piece functions like a visual diary—layered, intimate, and emotionally resonant. Cuñat studied graphic design and visual arts in Spain and Italy, including a formative year in Milan, where she developed a deep interest in composition and material storytelling. She has also lived and worked in New York and Passau (Germany), experiences that enriched her perspective and continue to influence the emotional depth of her visual language. With a background in art direction, Cuñat brings a refined sense of balance, contrast, and narrative to her work. Her collages have been featured in independent art publications and exhibitions, standing out for their sensitivity and symbolic depth. She currently offers both original pieces and limited edition prints, created with archival-quality materials. Her work invites the viewer to pause and reflect, connecting with the subtle echoes of other lives—perhaps even their own.
