Mihai Rotaru

The artist is a passionate painter with a deep affinity for abstract art, exploring the boundaries of emotion, form, and color through his work. With a background in mural art from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, his artistic journey reflects a blend of technical expertise and a profound understanding of human emotion and expression.

Over the years, he has showcased his work in numerous solo exhibitions, including the “Sens Vital” series at Helios Gallery in Timișoara, and has participated in diverse group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. His creations often evoke mystery and invite introspection, with a style that emphasizes the abstract and the symbolic, resonating with his fascination for texture and dynamic compositions.

Through exhibitions such as “Centenary Romania” in Brussels and various thematic group shows like “The Sacred in Art”, his work bridges contemporary abstraction with subtle spiritual undertones, establishing him as a significant voice in the Romanian and European art scene.
