Pierre Colmain

Pierre Colmain is a self-taught French artist working in figurative pop art.
He left school at seventeen, built a business from nothing by twenty-one, and spent years reading the world through the lens of commerce, ambition, and collective illusion. That literacy became the foundation of his art.
His work operates on two levels: an immediate visual pleasure — bold forms, vibrant color — and a quieter, more unsettling truth beneath. His guiding principle, Paint the fake. Collect the truth., captures this tension precisely.
Colmain sees color differently. What appears neutral in isolation reveals itself in contrast — a phenomenon that shapes every canvas and has become one of his most recognized signatures among collectors.
He exhibits across France's leading contemporary art salons, including Sm'Art Aix-en-Provence, and is actively expanding toward international audiences in Miami, Dubai, and Shanghai.
