EDUCATION
EXHIBITIONS

Lina Alattar received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Middle Tennessee State University. She continued her painting education in Gubio, Italy through an Art Study Program, while studying with painters who encouraged an experimental, process-based approach to painting.


Upon returning to the states, she continued painting education at The George Washington University alongside a career in graphic design. She worked as a Creative Art Director, as well as numerous freelance work including the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. 

Lina is a recipient of the 2016 Art Bank grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Her recent solo exhibitions include Hillyer Art Space, Touchstone Gallery and Capital One. Group exhibitions include Greater Reston Arts Center, McLean Projects for the Arts, George Mason University, and Caravan, a traveling exhibition in London and NYC.

Lina has also served as a Vise President of the Board for Touchstone Gallery. Her work is in numerous public and private collections including The Mary Washington Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center and private practices and residences.
