The painting is made with a palette knife and a brush. An old house, a weathered tree, and a wise old cat—each carrying the echoes of time. Behind the aged blue door lie untold stories, memories, and secrets of generations past. Such homes are found throughout Turkey, serving as silent witnesses to ...

My name is Dilyara Moldabekova, I am a third-generation artist from Kazakhstan, now living and creating in the coastal town of Alanya. Born into a family of artists, I have been immersed in the world of painting since childhood. My art is a return to seeing the world as it truly is. We so often live on autopilot, reducing reality to a set of labels: "table," "apple," "work," "love." But behind each object, each fleeting moment, there is depth — a unique vibration, a quiet, living presence. I work with acrylic and oil on canvas, using painting as a way to express not just shapes, but the breath of a moment — its fragility, its movement, its sense of being alive. Through impressionism and expressionism, I explore not the things themselves, but the emotions, the states of being that surround them. I try to capture what usually slips away: a particular light through a window, a pause between words, a glance filled with meaning. Each painting is an experience of something already vanishing. Like an inhale and exhale. Like life itself — a full cycle of birth, blooming, and dissolution. I want the viewer, standing before my work, to slow down. To pause. To remember what it feels like to look without rushing, without judgment. Just to be. Just to see. And perhaps to discover, in that stillness, that the world is very much alive — always speaking to us. We only need to listen.
