Marina Orrea is a contemporary painter whose work explores the human figure, often feminine, and its relationship with the living world. Through layered painting, the work unfolds as a space of presence, passage, and transformation, where body and nature coexist without hierarchy or fixed narrative.
Forests, organic forms, and natural cycles appear as inner territories rather than landscapes, inviting a slow and attentive way of seeing. The paintings are built through successive layers and textures, allowing forms to emerge, dissolve, and reappear.
Marina Orrea’s work proposes a contemplative experience, where movement, matter, and silence play an essential role, and where each painting becomes a place of quiet encounter.
