Tommy Lei is a Los Angeles–based fine art photographer whose work occupies the space between photography and painting. His images are composed with restraint and intention, offering contemplative encounters that reveal themselves over time rather than at first glance.

Influenced by Buddhist philosophy and a meditative approach to image-making, Lei creates works rooted in memory, place, and quiet presence. Whether drawn from natural or urban environments, his photographs are defined by stillness and emotional clarity—designed for collectors who value depth, calm, and permanence in the spaces they inhabit.

Lei’s work is held in private and institutional collections, with exhibitions including the Pasadena Museum of History. He is an ambassador for Canson Infinity, and his photographs have been featured in Architectural Digest, Aesthetica, and The Hollywood Reporter. His collectors include author Celeste Ng, with recent commissions for JPMorgan Chase and Samsung Frame.
