Four Moons Painting

I make paintings that are dear to me, that capture magic and otherworldliness of freedom: through colour and shape, a painting is a window into the soul of a viewer. It can hold up a wall, that transitional space between the ceiling and the floor. A metaphor for sunrise and sunset on the horizon outside brought in, nature as a setting to contemplate between life and death. In my dreams, the frames are all askew, empty and hang alongside a descending staircase – a potent symbol of creativity and its promise of a less demanding, freer existence.
