Tamara Morozova: “I transform fragile pieces of nature into quiet universes, where every petal and stem becomes a story of light, emotion, and life”. Tamara Morozova is a contemporary artist and photographer whose work unites fine art photography, drawing, and painting into a harmonious exploration of nature, symbolism, and emotional expression. Her artistic practice moves fluidly between botanical still life photography and expressive mixed-media artworks, creating a cohesive visual language built on observation, intuition, and refined detail. The author lives in Serbia, in the city of Kragujevac. In her photographic work, especially the Botanica series, Tamara studies organic forms—flowers, roots, leaves, bulbs, and wild herbs—capturing them with sculptural lighting and minimalist compositions. Set against deep monochrome backgrounds, her botanical subjects appear both fragile and powerful, inviting viewers to notice the hidden rhythms and quiet poetry of the natural world. Her photographs balance scientific precision with a meditative, almost spiritual atmosphere. In her drawings and paintings, Tamara works with acrylics, tempera, colored pencils, and acrylic markers on professional paper and canvas. These pieces often explore inner worlds, mythic figures, dreamlike characters, and symbolic forms. Her color palettes range from soft pastels to vibrant contrasts, creating works that feel emotional, intuitive, and rich in narrative. Many of her compositions combine fine linework with bold painterly textures, referencing both illustration and contemporary painting. Across all mediums, Tamara’s art reflects a deep sensitivity to form, color, and emotion. Whether photographing a cluster of irises or painting an imagined character, she focuses on transformation, quiet beauty, and the connection between nature and the human inner landscape. Her multidisciplinary approach appeals to collectors who appreciate both contemporary botanical photography and expressive mixed-media artworks.
