Nancee Brown

Nancee is an expressive painter with a strong sense of colour. Her professional career as an interior designer honed that skill. She has been painting for over 30 years. Born in New York, Nancee now calls London home.

Nancee is a member of the Chelsea Arts Club and has participated in 3 of their group shows.

Her collection of Flower Portraits is a bold and lively study of flowers up close. Each painting consists of multiple layers of paint to achieve the nuance of shading and depth. Nancee really enjoys working on a large scale with big brushes. The idea is to ‘stop and smell the roses’ by examining the beauty of each flower. Mother Nature is amazing and to render that on a large scale fills my heart with joy. I hope they put a smile on your face!
