I’m Liliana Dumitru, I am a painter whose work blends emotion, colour, and narrative into every brushstroke. My art is deeply rooted in storytelling—whether it’s the fierce movement of a dancer, the quiet intimacy of a couple, or the timeless beauty of landscapes and castles. I work primarily in watercolour, oil, and mixed media, often exploring themes of feminine strength, romantic connection, and the interplay between nature and human emotion. Each painting begins with a spark—an image, a memory, or a feeling—and grows into a world of its own, inviting the viewer to step inside. For me, painting is more than technique—it is the language of my heart. My motto, “My heart beats in colour, my story lives in paint,” reflects the way I approach every canvas: with passion, honesty, and a deep respect for the stories we all carry.
