Magdalena Stavila is a painter from Brașov, Romania. Born in 1982, she graduated from the Art High School with a focus on sculpture, and later from the Faculty of Arts in Oradea with a specialisation in painting. Caught between raising children and life's challenges, her early works consisted of small still lifes through which she studied concrete form and its relationship with light. In recent years, the artist has returned to her passion for color, shapes, and textures, exploring new expressions that reflect themes related to the human psyche, the relationship between the individual and the external world, as well as with divinity. She is fascinated by the depth and subtlety of symbols and the expressive power of visual language, which she considers to be a universal language that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries. Magdalena Stavila has exhibited in Oradea and Brașov, bringing to the public works that capture the essence of the human being and the complexity of their relationships. She also runs a YouTube channel where she offers painting lessons and encourages the public to engage in painting.
