Ellen Greup is a professional visual artist who harmoniously combines colour and form. Her work explores the delicate balance between simplicity and complexity. She is currently focused on creating paper collages, drawn to paper as a remarkably versatile and rewarding material. Ellen continually explores new ways to translate its inherent beauty into visually engaging, graphic compositions.

Through carefully selected shapes, she creates a sense of clarity and calm, while her use of colour and texture brings dynamism and intrigue to each piece. Her aim is to evoke positive emotions and leave the viewer with a sense of joy and energy. Alongside her collages, Ellen also creates paintings and colourful papier-mâché sculptures, all characterised by the same distinctive visual language.

Ellen graduated from the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands. Her background in fashion design, trend forecasting and graphic design is reflected in her highly developed understanding of colour and composition. Her work is regularly exhibited throughout the Netherlands. In 2022, she was selected to participate in the Climate Expo, where her work was exhibited at Museum de Fundatie.

With her distinctive and well-balanced artistic signature, Ellen is an emerging artist gaining recognition both nationally and internationally.
