Davit Nerkararyan

My paintings bring personalities to our world with the symbols they are relative to. Symbols provide a visual narrative that transcends the barriers, revealing the true values, beliefs, and aspirations of bygone eras. Through their colors and intricate details, my art allow us to connect with the past and gain a deeper understanding of our shared human history through my eyes. Throughout history, art has been a powerful medium for capturing the essence of prominent personalities and the symbols associated with them.

Artist and film director. He was born in 1984 in Vanadzor, Armenia. From 2001 to 2006 he graduated his degree in Hovh. Tumanyan Vanadzor State Pedagogical Institute Faculty of Fine Arts. From 2009 to 2011 he graduated his degree in Film from the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (YSITC). From 2012 to 2014 worked as a film editor in Bars Media documentary film studio. From 2015 till nowadays is working at the TUMO Centre for Creative Technologies and Ayb school as a filmmaking workshop leader. His paintings are included in the private collections of Georgiy Daneliya, Abbas Kiarostami, Serje Tankian, and others.
