Lucky Friday Artist
“Invest in tomorrow’s contemporary art today — limited editions already attracting global collectors.”

Based between Cape Town and Zanzibar, I am an emerging contemporary artist working across painting and digital printmaking. My work explores Africa’s seascapes and landscapes through bold originals and exclusive signed editions, designed to hold — and grow — in value. Exhibited at the Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town, I also experiment with printing on unique surfaces such as aluminium and perspex, giving each edition a striking, collectible edge. Every piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, making each Lucky Friday artwork both a statement of Africa’s beauty and a forward-looking investment in contemporary art.

1993–1995 — Wanganui School of Design
I studied at the Wanganui School of Design in New Zealand, the first institution in the Southern Hemisphere to launch a computer graphic design program. Immersed in typography, printmaking, and computer graphics, I graduated with honours and began a global career in advertising. This design foundation deeply informs my artistic practice today — from the layering techniques in my paintings to my experimentation with limited-edition prints on aluminium and perspex.

Selected Exhibitions & Projects

1996 — GUILTY Exhibition, Wellington, New Zealand
Screen printing and digital fabric works confronting a local murder case and the trivialisation of news by mainstream media. The exhibition received national television coverage and sparked public debate. The victim’s family later expressed gratitude for giving their daughter’s story meaning through art.

2020–2021 — Zeitz MOCAA, Cape Town, South Africa
Exhibited Omo Boy, a computer-generated artwork printed on gold aluminium. Created during lockdown, the piece explores digital innovation and contemporary African identity. Currently available for acquisition.

2023 — Public Mural, Hermanus, South Africa
Commissioned 6m x 3m mural of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, approved by the Desmond Tutu Foundation. A lasting public tribute to one of South Africa’s most important moral leaders.
