b.1950.North London. The rest is largely unrelated to current work! Completed Fine Art foundation course 07/08.Graduated from Middlesex University, London, BA(Hons) Fine Art Mainly my inspiration comes from handling terracotta...that's my preferred medium. I can think of nothing more satisfying and exciting than taking a piece of "raw" clay, casting around a space and starting to create a tangible form in three dimensions. I'm in my element with a live model or an empty space. Rodin, Gill, Epstein, Hepworth, Moore, Frink and Gormley are but a few inspirational artists of too many to list! I don't mean to imply I rank myself anywhere close to their level but just to touch the edge of the space they occupy is what I aspire to.I have started to explore more abstract forms in recent months and am finding this both challenging and rewarding.Also started to paint using oils on canvas, mainly abstracts often based on my 3D work.
