Stephen Epstein

In addition to my professional commitment as a former Art Teacher in the New Fairfield School District and in the NYC Board of Education, I have simultaneously committed myself to developing my career as an artist/painter and as well as a practicing/ published poet.

Over the years, I have had numerous exhibitions of my drawings and paintings in galleries, museums and other cultural organizations in the U.S.A. and in Europe (Holland, Germany and Belgium).

Stephen Epstein has long established himself as a professional artist of importance. Before leaving and residing in the Netherlands he acquired his B.A. in Fine Arts/Art History from Brooklyn College and his M.A. in Art History from Pennsylvania State University. He returned to New York City in 2003 receiving another M.A. in Special Education. In the U.S. and in Holland, he has taught Art in public schools, colleges, universities and in museums. He now lives in Connecticut.
