Bing Hitchcock

Bing Hitchcock is an emerging self-taught modern abstract artist, currently living in Brighton, UK. He had a bit of an unorthodox start. A professional musician for over fifteen years, but a twist of fate meant a change in career when he broke three fingers and subsequently moved into the moving picture world. What followed was a highly successful fourteen years as a Cameraman, Director of Photography, and Director working with the biggest stars in music comedy, and film.

A few years back Bing decided to give it all up when he heard Grayson Perry deliver his Reith lecture for BBC Radio 4, entitled “Playing to the gallery.” This lecture set out to demystify the art world and make it inclusive for all. This encouraged him to develop his own contemporary technique, particularly in relation to composition and the final master quality.
