Kahla Lewis

Painter of spooky cats and other oddities, Kahla is a fine artist and illustrator in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her work combines traditional oil techniques with contemporary magical realism, often serving as loving celebrations of animals that are commonly depicted as ugly or undesirable. From homicidal cats in pop culture parodies to original animal hybrids, her paintings depict a world full of strange - and often funny - creatures.

Kahla received her BFA in Painting from Otis College of Art and Design (Los Angeles) in 2009.
