Marcello Castellani

Marcello Castellani, born in Cali, Colombia, in 1989 and currently based in Berlin, Germany. Throughout his artistic career, which began in 2014, he has sought to capture the profound emotions conveyed through human expressions, with portraiture being a recurring theme in his work.

The source of his inspiration lies in the fusion of two opposing forces: chaos and beauty. This combination serves as a window into the ongoing exploration of universal duality, inviting viewers to delve into the depths of the human experience. Castellani employs these elements symbolically to highlight the inherent coexistence of light and darkness within our inner selves, emphasizing that both are essential components that complement each other.
