Nigel Perreira

Nigel is a self taught Artist who has worked very hard to enhance his natural raw talent. He specializes in large scale acrylic art on canvas with a variety of techniques, colours and subject matter. He was born and raised in South America and moved to Canada at an early age. His formative years were spent in Guyana where as a young boy he started drawing local scenes with a pencil and sketchpad. At the age of 6 he was introduced to water colours and from that point followed in the steps of his Grandad and Mother who also shared this gift. He lived in the Toronto area for a period of time but for the last 25+ years now resides in London Ontario. Nigel has worked very hard to develop this skill and continues to learn and grow as an artist everyday. He has done this through hard work, dedication, sacrifice and also by gaining new experiences both good and bad. He has traveled around Southern Ontario, South America, Central America and Cuba to capture beautiful scenery, breath taking moments and real life in his work. Nigel is fortunate to have several collectors and has been featured in Galleries and Exhibits throughout South Western Ontario.
