Paula Langstein

I am an abstract artist based in Manhattan Beach, California, drawing inspiration from coastal living and the human figure. In my creative process, I intuitively layer the canvas with multiple hues of paint, with each stroke infused with myriad emotions, memories, and distinct personalities that form the foundation of the story I aim to convey. As I gently remove layers of paint, intricate figures emerge, revealing their authentic colors and the stories hidden within.
