Unlike most artists my art journey didn't begin at very early age. Art found me in my 30's . I have always been drawn to colors and nature and had keen interest in photography and art is natural extension of capturing the moments with brush as that gives me artistic license to express my feelings. I am a wanderer and have spent my years traveling and exploring different parts of the world. My art is influenced and inspired by my travels, cultural experiences, admired artists and my everyday life. It is ever changing and evolving. I don't like to be confined or partial to one subject but prefer to paint varied subjects in different mediums. Acrylics being my favorite so far. Process : My art work is done in mixed media. When I start a painting I draw inspiration from organic patterns , nature and my travel photographs. With that inspiration in mind I start my work and then let my intuition guide it . The whole process of starting and way it evolves is very meditative for me. I'm particularly drawn towards the color blue and earthy tones and pastel colors which you can see a lot in my paintings. I paint in my home studio with music and my lil chihuahua as constant companion .
