Sjoukje Van Gool

Sjoukje van Gool grew up surrounded by nature: water and woods. Images and the feel and colours of these are therefore deeply embedded in her being. And these colours are reflected in her work; the greens and browns of the woods, the blues of water and the skies. She captures reality as she sees and feels it: a dreamt world that could be anywhere, any time. Visual poetry that more than anything else relates to what can’t be seen.
