I live in France and work alternately in the mountains, in the Alps and in central Brittany. After studying music and art history in Paris (Sorbonne and Schola Cantorum, organ class) I chose to leave urban life to settle in a rural environment, closer to nature. Painting, drawing, engraving and then photography then entered my life. and quickly become essential. The imprint of time passed, the fragility of beauty and life, cycles and metamorphoses, energy and vitality are my favorite themes. I am inspired by the plant world, particularly trees, for their symbolic richness and their analogy with human beings. All my works bear the signature D A D which are the initials of my birth name Dominique Aline Danet
