Abdullah Aref

I have always been passionate about art. As a child, I did not get the possibility to release my expression of art. Instead, I used to take the leftover wall paint and paint it on wood surfaces. And ever since, it became my passion and my love for art continued to increase.

To paint what you feel, nourishes the soul.

My art work isn't intentional nor is it revised, it has changed and evolved over time. I don't usually like to explain a certain piece of art - I believe if your art is how you wanted it to be then hopefully it can speak for itself and deliver it's own message.

I don't set out to produce art related to one subject or another, I feel having one theme can chain the mind whilst a range of themes allows for more different viewers perspectives. With art, each viewer takes something different from the same picture and I am happy with that.
