Julia Wager has worked as an Animalier artist since leaving Cheltenham School of Art. Her fascination and strong connection with animals, in particular horses, has never waned and has enabled her to continually produce work covering a wide variety of subjects in many mediums. Her sculpture is cast in bronze and comes in editions of twelve. Her paintings in oil and acrylic are often on a large scale. She also works as an illustrator. Her drawings in watercolour and ink are of humorous creatures as well as more serious subjects. Her work is held in private collections in the UK and Europe and from Australia to Kuwait. Commissions can be undertaken in all mediums. All work comes with a certificate of authenticity.
