Nineta Vretou

Nineta Vretou was born in Thessaloniki, Greece and lives in Athens. She works as an active artist, working in painting, multimedia and interactive installations.
She is especially interested in the exploitation of new technologies in art and the combined use of traditional and new media.
In her multimedia projects she employs digital media and electronics for the creation of interactive installations and environments.
Her artworks are in private collections.

She has graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Thessaloniki, and continued with post-graduated studies in physics, in Paris. She holds a BA of honours in Fine Arts & Technology from Middlesex University, UK.
