Her recent work has focused on women as a physical or symbolic protagonist in several series of photographs. Torre uses irony, social, regional and international stereotypes, to show everyday life as a series of details in which the viewer can relate through memory or from day to day.
Her investigation of color has a particular interest in color as a sign and symbol. How the viewer can categorize an object depending on the ‘filter with which he looked. Her work also experiments with light and the ability to transform objects at the two-dimensional and three-dimensional level.
