Nataliia Mcmillian

My name is Natalia MacMillan, and I am a contemporary artist based in Hollywood, Florida. I create original abstract and textured paintings inspired by nature, the ocean, light, color, and organic forms.
My work includes coastal-inspired paintings as well as contemporary abstract compositions. I work primarily with acrylics and mixed media, building layered surfaces with texture paste and other materials to create depth, movement, and tactile detail. In selected coastal works, I incorporate natural seashells, crushed shell fragments, and sand.
The Florida coast is an important source of inspiration in my practice. I am drawn to the changing colors of the ocean, the rhythm of waves, the softness of sand, and the natural textures found along the shore. These elements influence my work, while abstraction gives me the freedom to explore emotion, balance, and expressive color.
Each painting is handmade and one of a kind. Through my work, I aim to create art that brings a sense of calm, energy, and connection to nature into contemporary spaces.
