Courtney Davis-Haze is a contemporary artist known for her vibrant and expressive paintings inspired by her background as a ballerina and love for color and movement.

Painting is a form of meditation for her—an intuitive, immersive process guided by feeling. Her work often features layered textures that reveal themselves over time; from a distance, pieces may feel soft and cohesive, but up close they unfold into complex surfaces rich with detail. She embraces experimentation across styles, creating works that range from quiet and understated to bright and expressive, all grounded in rhythm, balance, and movement.

While Courtney draws inspiration from real life, including people, places, fleeting moments, and emotional experiences, her paintings do not depict specific subjects or locations.
