Changwoo Yoon

Changwoo Yoon(E-su) is a scientist and artist who majored in artificial intelligence and brain science. His philosophy of art is a fusion of scientific fact and art.
He pursues the convergence concept of AI and brain science as a contemporary art.
He study artificial intelligence principles of line, face, and color, and strive to apply the result to art.
The brain processes infinite information into a finite appearance to create a world of relationships and meanings.
If you feel inspiration when you see nature, you can find a connection that is relevance corresponding to the experiences I have seen, knowledge I have. The work of abstraction for finding and building associativity is also performed. This work is due to the finite memory of the brain. In the finite space, the abstraction and the knowledge of the vision are advanced to remember many things.

Changwoo Yoon received Ph.D. degree in Computer & Information Science & Engineering from University of Florida, US. Currently he is principal researcher in Smart Platform Department, ETRI and professor at UST (University of Science and Technology). His current research interests include Cognitive computing, Artificial Intelligence, Wearable computing, N-Screen, IPTV, Cloud computing, SOA, Service creation/delivery technology.
He was responsible for the project “Proposal on National Competitiveness Elevation and Business Innovation Plan for Artificial Intelligence” funded by PACST (Presidential Advisory Council on S&T) suggesting national policies and developmental strategy on artificial intelligence technology and AI related industries. Recently he joined wearable computing related project.
