I see a world hungry for love, with thirst for life ... thirst for eternity.
From within my work I explore the natural, emotional and spiritual experience of art. Painting is my instrument, I believe in the great power of it to activate the memory of the soul, to get to the heart, to approach the unnameable and, essentially, it’s capacity to make us live again our natural state of inner glow. My painting comes from meditation and breathing; it’s home is silence. And it is from that poetic state, that my work explores the essential elements of nature and its forces and, in particular, that centrifuge from where life is born and sprouts. A dot appears into the artworks. Its presence evokes the vastness of this life system we are part of and how small we are when we forget about it.

In front of each painting by danilo rojas is seeded the possibility that what makes us REMEMBER THE ESSENTIAL... what we really are, will blossom.

Studies Architecture in the University of Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, followed by a master in History, Critique and Projects in the UPC in Barcelona, Spain, he also studies antique Chinese calligraphy and philosophy.
