Tatiana Gomzina

What does define me? The very first thing I am thinking about is being a real globe trotter! I had a chance to live in several countries and to discover different cultures and ways of life.

I was born in Tver, about 180 km northwest of Moscow. I studied in Russia, Finland and France and I also worked a bit in the United States. I have finally settled in France and I currently live and work in Paris.

When I was a child, I couldn't imagine just one day without painting. During my studies at the art school I discovered the impressionists and I was really amazed by the way they depict the light and its changing nature. I think it influenced a lot my own way of painting.

I find my inspiration almost everywhere either in my everyday life or during my trips: bright sky above our heads, beautiful flowers, sunny meadows, mountains, blue sea... I just enjoy exploring the beauty around us!
