Jo-Anne Sachs Ross

I am a Canadian artist living in BC, on Vancouver Island. I fell in love with colour line, and texture with my first box of crayons. Favourite colour… black. I loved the feel of it gliding across the pages in my sister’s spelling books, yikes! I did get reprimanded but I have been loving the colours and textures I see around me and have been exploring it in my art ever since.
British Columbia abounds with all of these elements. Some I represent subjects abstractly, others in a realistic manner. My art is a creative expression of inner me.
