Roy Aurinko

Good painting has a sense of danger and brutal beauty. My work is like a jazz improvisation. I rarely make sketches, as a rule, themes and ideas move from one painting to another. Thematically my body of work is based on a thought experiment, challenging the viewer to reflect on their own relationship with the surrounding world in a new way.
