Chris Cook

Chris began artistic life at Brighton College of Art – now part of Brighton University. He majored in photography and has been a professional photographer, artist and teacher for over 40 years. He went on to study lighting under the great exponent of lighting Walter Nurnberg O.B.E.
Chris also works as an expert guide at Bloomsbury group art houses of Charleston Farmhouse and Virginia Woolfs Monks House National Trust in Sussex England.
Chris shares his time between Southern England and Southern Italy where he has homes. The light in Italy is so beautiful and extends the season and warmth.
Chris competed and was featured in the televised Landscape Artist of the Year UK in 2020. Chris is also Chairperson of Newhaven Art Club.

Chris has had work Exhibited at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and has sold widely throughout the world. He has also won many accolades for his work. He held a 2021 Exhibition at the beautiful Crypt Gallery Seaford UK and organised the Brighton Art Council Summer exhibition.
