Ashim Halder known to his friends as ‘Sagor’ (born 5 April, 1983 Jhalakati) is a visual artist from Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2008 he completed his MFA in Ceramics from the Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka. He has participated in numerous workshops and exhibitions in Bangladesh, India, UK, USA, Canada, Nepal, Pakistan, Slovenia, Japan, China, Netherlands, Germany, France and Korea. He has done 3rd Solo &II International Triennial of Ceramics Unicum 2012 Slovenia. KUNSTVLAAI Festival of Independents at Amsterdam, Netherland. Fourth ASNA Clay Triennial, Pakistan. Oita Asian Sculpture Exhibition 2012, Japan. Annual MONITOR 6 & 9: New South Asian Short Film and Video screening, Toronto, Canada 2010/13.
