Sarah Ayoub Agha

Sarah is a Syrian Painter, but was raised and currently based in Dubai/UAE. Sarah is currently working as a Lecturer at the University of Sharjah/College of Fine Arts and Design in Sharjah/United Arab Emirates, the college she graduated from in 2006 with a BFA in Painting. She later got her MFA degree in Painting from the Fine Arts Department of London Metropolitan University in 2010.
Highlighting her accomplishments throughout her practice, Sarah Won the First Prize Fine Arts Category in the first edition of the Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award 2007. She was also chosen by one of the lead art critics Anna Finel Honigman as the Saatchi Online Critic’s Choice in 2010 on Saatchi Online. Her work was included in several prestigious events locally and internationally like Istanbul Biennial in 2005, and Frieze Art Fair in 2009. She also was privileged to have her work included in the pre-auction exhibition by Christie’s in 2007 in Dubai/UAE. She is privileged to have worked for over 7 years for Her Highness Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum overlooking all art project sand initiatives run the Foundation.
