I am an award-winning contemporary Indian artist based in London, specialising in Colourful Memoryscapes through oils, inks, pastels, and printmaking. My work explores themes of finding home, journeys, and migration.
After moving to London from Kolhapur, India, in 2016, I have integrated the vibrant colours of my homeland with London's diverse influences. Notable achievements include receiving The Drawing Bursary from ING Discerning Eye, The British Art Prize, and being shortlisted for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2023 and Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2023.
My colourful memoryscapes answer the recurring question: "What makes us?" I layer my paintings with personal memories and current experiences, inviting viewers to explore different times, atmospheres, and forms. My work seeks to unravel the mystery of attachment and detachment, encouraging reflection on belonging, connection, and memory rekindling.
I aim to speak a universal language through my art, blending realism with elements from the natural world, geometry, classical music, symbols, and folklore, highlighting our shared humanity across diverse backgrounds.
Please explore my work with the curiosity of a little seeker.

I am Richa Vora, an artist with a diverse educational background. I hold a BA (Hons) in Business Enterprise, Creation, and Management from Northumbria University (2024). In 2023, I completed an Intensive Drawing Course at the Royal Drawing School in London. Prior to that, I earned a Foundation Degree in Fine Arts from The Art Academy, Open University, London (2018-2022), and a GD Art (Applied Arts) with a major in Illustrations from Kalaniketan Mahavidyalay, Kolhapur, Mumbai University (2002-2007).

I have held solo exhibitions at prestigious venues such as the Indian High Commission in London and the Nehru Centre in both London and Mumbai. I’ve also participated in numerous group shows, including the ECHOES exhibition at The Nehru Centre, and have been selected for prizes such as the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize and the British Art Prize. My work has been recognized with awards like the Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painting Award and the ING Discerning Eye Drawing Bursary.
